蜀(shu)江(jiang)錦院（成都蜀(shu)錦織繡博物館(guan)），是全(quan)國唯一擁有全(quan)套手工(gong)蜀(shu)錦制作工(gong)藝和蜀(shu)錦歷史(shi)文化(hua)展示的專業場館(guan)。蜀(shu)江(jiang)錦院傳承、保(bao)護(hu)兩千(qian)多年(nian)的傳統織(zhi)造技(ji)藝，致力于絲綢、織(zhi)錦(jin)的研究(jiu)、古蜀(shu)錦(jin)紋樣(yang)的復(fu)制，現代蜀(shu)錦(jin)裝飾和實用(yong)功能(neng)的開發(fa)，以及(ji)歷代蜀(shu)錦(jin)精典紋樣(yang)的限量織(zhi)造。
蜀(shu)(shu)江錦(jin)院(yuan)內設(she)大型蜀(shu)(shu)錦(jin)織造工場、古(gu)今陳列展示(shi)，清代花樓木(mu)質機手(shou)工制作蜀(shu)(shu)錦(jin)。除此之(zhi)外，仍保留半手(shou)工半機械傳(chuan)統(tong)生產(chan)和現代工藝(yi)織造。2008年(nian)“蜀(shu)(shu)江錦(jin)院(yuan)”被(bei)授(shou)于“四川省著名商標”、“四川省旅(lv)游骨干企業(ye)”、2006年(nian)“蜀(shu)(shu)錦(jin)織造技藝(yi)”被(bei)國務院(yuan)命名首批“”、“蜀(shu)(shu)江錦(jin)院(yuan)”被(bei)文化(hua)部(bu)授(shou)牌為全國唯一(yi)的“蜀(shu)(shu)錦(jin)織造技藝(yi)”傳(chuan)承單(dan)位。
Shu Brocade Institute (Chengdu Shu Brocade and Embroidery Museum) is the only professional place in China to show all the processes of Shu brocade hand-weaving as well as the history and the culture of Shu brocade. Passing down and preserving the traditional Shu brocade weaving handicraft of over 2000 years, Shu Brocade Institute is devoted to studying silk and brocade, restoring ancient patterns of Shu brocade, designing new motifs for decoration, exploring the practical function, and producing some precious brocade in limited production.
Shu Brocade Institute sets up a large-scaled workshop inside, displays diversities of ancient and modern Shu brocade and embroidery, and maintains Shu Brocade Platform Jacquard Looms of the Qing dynasty to make Shu brocade by hand. In addition, Shu Brocade Institute continues the traditional semi-manual and semi-mechanical production, and also employs the modern weaving techniques. In 2008, Shu Brocade Institute was awarded "The Famous Brand of Sichuan Province" and "The Key Tourism Enterprise of Sichuan Province". In 2006, “Shu Brocade Weaving Techniques” was ranked as one of the first batch of China Intangible Cultural Heritage by the State Council, and Shu Brocade Institute was awarded the only authorized unit to impart Shu brocade weaving techniques by the State Ministry of Culture
